  • You will work on your Worksheets with you TAs in their Monday recitation.
  • You will submit your worksheets GradeScope that same Monday before midnight.
  
  
• HOMEWORKS:
  • Typically there will be one homework due per week on Wednesday.
    • Electronic HWs (WebAssign through Canvas) will be due before midnigth on Wednesday.
    • Scanned hand-written HWs (submitted to GradeScope) will be due before midnigth on Wednesday.
  • Typically, the HW will be posted at least a week early so you are encouraged to start on it earlier.
  
  
• Labs:

Notes on the WebAssign system:

• To register into your WebAssign course just click the "WebAssign" tab in your Math-151 in Canvas.
• The online (WebAssign) homework will be available through Canvas.
• If the answer to a problem involves logarithms, use the absolute value for the argument: e.g. ln(|sin(x)|) not ln(sin(x)).
• Also, make sure that you use the same variable as stated in the problem. For example, if the correct answer is sin(t), your answer will be marked incorrect if you input sin(x).
• Also, note that WebAssign is case sensitive. For example, if the correct answer is x + 5, your answer will be marked incorrect if you input X + 5.
• Always put in exact answers (e.g. ln(5/13)) rather than decimals, unless the question specifically asks for a decimal (if so, it will state how many decimal places are required).
• Some students struggle with unwieldy numbers. Remember, in WebAssign you do not have to simplify. For example, if your answer is 23^4/17^5*((7+64^3/19^3)-(7+60^3/17^3))^(2/3) and you try to simplify, you'll get a mess. But you do not have to multiply out any powers, combine numbers, or simplify. Just input your answer in a form that is unsimplified and unexpanded. The example above can be inputted in that form. You can avoid huge or unwieldy numbers this way.
